Stefan Sagmeister explores the possibilities of achieving happiness as a person and as a designer.
Best known as the “grand master of graphic design” Mister Sagmeister, originally from Bregenz, Vorarlberg, Austria (meine Heimat which makes me especially proud ;)) based his design firm that creates identities, commercials, websites, apps, films, books and objects for clients, audiences and ourselves in NYC.
He constantly explores and transcends the boundaries between art and design. His tactics to make sure his work remains a calling without deteriorating into a chore, as well as the chances to design pieces that induce happiness in the audience.
With the exposition “THE HAPPY SHOW” he documents ten years of ongoing investigation into happiness with the aid of videos, prints, infographics, sculptures, and interactive installations.
