Daniel Bense

“Scent should be something you carry with you, not something that arrives before you do”, says To my Ships‘ CEO, Daniel Bense

We had the privilege to discover To My Ships during Matter and Shape 2026 and to speak with the founder Daniel Bense as well as Martina Belloni, Head of Growth, about the brand and their approach. Not only the scenography of their installation at the salon was smart. Just as the conversation – fluid, freshly light and natural.

To my Ships offers a personal care line that urges a lighter, restrained approach, in the form of underarm care, body cleansers and fine fragrances formulated with primarily with high-quality, responsibly sourced natural and naturally derived ingredients.

Introducing the range to us, To My Ships’ CEO comments, “With To my Ships, we continue to push against the artificial and overbearing, expanding our offering while staying true to our approach – clean, crisp, and deeply considered. It’s a new expression of our commitment to creating better personal care with less”.

When choosing packaging materials, To My Ships strives for minimal impact and highest quality. The company strongly favours reuse prior to recycling of containers, and habitual purchase of refills to help reduce landfill.

To My Ships is inspired by The Iliad, a desire for cleaner armpits, and an intention to quell olfactory overload. Founded in the conviction that it pays to prioritize quality in certain products, this is a cultured personal care offer created in the manner of the finest perfumes.
