Having discovered only by now the works assembled in this very exhibition, I am truly touched and inspired by Pieter Vermeersch’s practice and imagery.
Turning the primary function of stone – marble – as material of painting seems no longer that of a mere carrier. Pieter Vermeersch expresses with his pure colors and light heavenly harmonious and silent beauty.
