Rather than just installing various spectacular objects in a breath-taking environment, the Danish-Icelandic artist Ólafur Elíasson chose to transmute the Palace of Versailles and the Gardens into a ‘field’ of visual and sensory experiences.

Perceptions of rooms and gardens change, transform and metamorphose along with the visitor’s ability to perceive and to imagine. thank you.
