today’s inspiration_Paris Design and Fashion Week menswear FW 26/27_Paris_France

To see or be seen.

Paris Fashion week is by far much more than this. The numerous nuances of fashion and art events in Paris have been particularly rich for comprehension that week. Between the diversity of the “Minimalism” movement, when a whole generation of artists (Dan Flavin, Robert Ryman, On Kawara, Agnès Martin, François Morellet etc) initiated a radical approach to art (curated in a major exhibition at the Bourse de Commerce) and the transformation of the “world of tomorrow” through the intellectual flourishing at the École des Arts Décoratifs, various exhibitions and conferences reveal the balance between geometric purity and contemporary decoration.

Whether one is comforted by iconic pieces of Another Tomorrow, Boyarovskaya, or Stephan Bach, whose beauty continues to elevate vestimentary codes like volume, cut, function, color and style, or whether one questions its wisdom to educate, inform, and transmit emotions, Paris Fashion week encompasses everything !

Merci Paris, you made me find my way back to my wings
